It gives me great pleasure and honor to welcome you to this distinguished national academic edifice, the Community College of Qatar (CCQ).

Established in 2010, CCQ has witnessed continuous prosperity and growth, qualifying it to be a model of academic excellence among the nation’s leading education establishments, and a pioneer in offering unique and diversified educational paths for a wide range of students, as well as an efficient contributor in achieving sustainable development in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030.

CCQ has made significant progress towards offering more diverse, specialized and high-quality academic programs, contributing to supporting the labor market with qualified national cadres who can realize their ambitions, participating in achieving national development objectives, and providing higher flexibility through the hybrid learning model to serve a larger segment of the community. Additionally, CCQ has sought to attract the most qualified and experienced academic and administrative staff across multiple campuses to accommodate the significant increase in the number of students enrolling at the CCQ.

CCQ has also succeeded in expanding its academic partnerships with local and international universities, institutions, and enterprises, to provide its students with more academic, research and training opportunities. This comes as a demonstration of CCQ’s strong belief in the importance of exchanging experiences, and employing the best international academic practices in line with our national identity. This was positively reflected in extending and disseminating knowledge, and enhancing students’ abilities in education, learning and problem solving.

We will continue our strenuous efforts and unwavering commitment to complement the developments and achievements that have been made, in collaboration with the wider CCQ family and all of our local and international partners, to advocate a policy of continuous development, offering unique and diverse educational paths as well as more diverse and specialized academic programs of international standards, to create a healthy learning environment that promotes creativity and excellence, thus promoting CCQ’s pioneering role in contributing to the development of qualified national cadres to meet the increasing and evolving needs of the Qatari labor market, reinforce the competitive capacities of public institutions, and align with the state’s strategic directions.
