The Community College of Qatar is launching the first annual English Language Center Symposium, titled ‘Bridging the Divide between Secondary and Post-secondary Education in Teaching English and Academic Skills’. The Symposium investigates the causes of disconnect in linguistic and academic skills between secondary and tertiary education in Qatar.

In its first edition, the one-day event brings together a line-up of eminent speakers who have contributed to the development of English language learning mechanisms, including Dr. Dudley Reynolds, Dr. Merfat Fayez, and Dr. Okon Effiong, among others.
