Community College celebrates the graduation of Early Childhood Assistant Teacher program

​​The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) celebrated today the graduation of Cohort 5 and Cohort 6 of Early Childhood Assistant Teacher program on November 13 under the patronage of HE Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi, the Minister of Education and Higher Education. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Kawari, Chairman of CCQ Board of Trustees, member of the BoT, Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Naimi, CCQ President, Dr. Abdallah H Hazaimeh, CCQ Dean, along with a number of guests and faculty members.

HE Dr. Hammadi expressed his happiness in honoring the graduates of CCQ's pioneering program to meet the needs of the Qatari community in general and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in particular. He praised the role of the program in preparing national cadres in the field of early childhood education and improving their educational skills.

Dr. Al-Naimi, on the other hand, announced that CCQ is planning to offer an associate degree program in early childhood education. He also pointed out that the program comes as a result of close cooperation and strategic partnership between CCQ and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education since 2014 to prepare qualified teachers for schools and kindergartens in the country.

With more than 200 graduates, the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Program became one of the important programs at CCQ, equipping early childhood assistant teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge that would enable them to provide the needed support for children in the classroom.
