CCQ, Sidra deliver "Healthcare Office Skills" program

Community College of Qatar announced that 35 Qataris successfully completed the “Healthcare Office Skills” program as part of the strategic partnership between CCQ and Sidra Medicine culminated in the MOU signed in August 2017.

The program was mainly designed to attract Qatari high school graduates and diploma holders who are interested in an entry-level career in medical administration. The program includes courses such as medical office administration, medical terminology for healthcare, health information management systems and business computer applications.

“CCQ is the fastest growing institution in Qatar with over 4,500 students enrolled at our campuses,” said Dr. Abdallah Hazaimeh, CCQ Dean. “We are proud to join hands with a healthcare organization such as Sidra Medicine. This partnership and the program, is the first step towards academic and career advancement for our young Qatari youth. Congratulations to the participants who have completed the program. We are very pleased with their success and we are looking forward to hearing their future success stories,” Hazaimeh added.
