CCQ honors outstanding students for making the Spring 2018 Dean’s and Honor’s Lists

The Community College of Qatar organized an Award Ceremony for outstanding students who made it to the Dean’s List and Honor’s List for the Spring Semester of 2018. The event was attended by CCQ’s President Dr. Mohamed Al-Naemi and the College Dean Dr. Abdallah Hazaimeh, alongside the honored students’ parents and colleagues.

The Dean’s List awardees were given certificates of distinction for maintaining a Grade Point Average between 3.60 and 4.00 for Spring 2018, while students given an Honor’s List certificate were recognized for maintaining a Grade Point Average between 3.35 and 3.59 for the Semester.

At the outset of the ceremony, Dr. Abdallah Hazaimeh congratulated the honorees on their outstanding academic achievement and commended them for embodying CCQ’s dedication to excellence. The Dean said that the honored students are a source of pride for the College, and wished them further success in their education and in realizing their ambitions.

The recipients of the high distinction certificates reflected CCQ’s nurturing of the talents and skills of its students and highlighted the diversity of its student body, which transcends generations and enriches the College Community with a wide spectrum of backgrounds and experiences.

In addition to their recognition at graduation and on transcript, students maintaining their record as Honors Students receive intensive faculty guidance, and enjoy priority for CCQ’s Study Abroad program, among other privileges. The College’s Honors Program is designed to offer a more challenging and rewarding academic experience for its most educationally-driven students.
