CCQ hosts DePaul University’s Director of International Admission to promote transfer opportunities

In the context of expanding the horizon for its students and linking them with prominent institutes the world over, the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) hosted the Director of International Admission at DePaul University Mr. Dino Pruccoli, who met with the College’s male and female students to help them explore transfer opportunities to the renowned University in Chicago and learn more about its admission requirements.

The informative session witnessed the interaction of Mr. Pruccoli with the students, who presented their questions, inquiries and suggestions to the DePaul University representative. The International Admission Director also discussed the transfer admission requirements to DePaul University and gave attendees an overview of the different learning paths that CCQ students who meet the requirements can start at the University.
Mr. Pruccoli’s visit comes to promote the CCQ-DePaul University transfer articulation agreement signed in May 2015, and encourage students who wish to continue their education at a reputable institution in the United States to consider their options and properly plan for their educational journey.

The articulation agreement allows many of CCQ’s classes to transfer to DePaul University. According to the agreement, transfer applicants to the colleges of Communication, Computing and Digital Media, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Science and Health must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students seeking to study at the Driehaus College of Business, College of Education and School of Music, on the other hand, must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. All applicants must provide proof of English Proficiency.
