The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) hosted Member of the Turkish Parliament H.E. Associate Professor Halil Ӧzşavli today at its C-Ring Campus, where he met with CCQ’s President Dr. Mohamed Al-Naemi to discuss a number of projects of mutual interest.

Professor Ӧzşavli and Dr. Al-Naemi explored the horizons of academic cooperation between the two parties in terms of the exchange of students and faculty and developing the educational process in general, as well as offering joint academic programs that enable CCQ students to get credit hours at prominent universities in the Turkish South, which has the advantage of having a culture similar to the Arab region’s as well as the provision of academic programs in Arabic. The College President presented Professor Ӧzşavli with a token of appreciation.

The Professor’s visit comes as part of his three-day trip to Qatar, during which he’ll be meeting officials at a number of eminent institutions and organizations in the State, within the sphere of further strengthening and developing the fast-growing and deepening bilateral relations between Qatar and Turkey.
