CCQ hosts a lecture by Qatar Charity on the challenges of charitable work

The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) recently hosted a lecture by Qatar Charity (QC) on the challenges that individuals and institutions face in the course of charitable work. The lecture was presented to the College’s female students by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, Assistant to QC's CEO in the Governance and Institutional Development Sector.

During the lecture, Al-Ghamdi defined the main concepts of charitable work and clarified the differences among them. He also highlighted the most prevalent material, logistical and humanitarian issues facing professionals in the field of charity, given the laws and regulations that govern charitable work.

The lecture also provided students with the opportunity to interact with Al-Ghamdi, as well as to discuss a number of important questions regarding their keenness to organize charity events on campus, in addition to questions about their participation in charitable activities taking place inside and outside Qatar.

In addition to coordinating with QC to deliver this and other important lectures, CCQ is constantly establishing and developing fruitful partnerships and collaborations with academic, social, and humanitarian institutions in the country, to advance its mission as a leading educational institution as well as its continuous pursuit of excellence.
