CCQ and Al Faisal Without Borders sign MoU to launch joint initiatives supporting sustainable development in Qatar

The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and the Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two institutions in the academic, scientific, research, training and cultural fields. The agreement helps establish a joint platform that serves as a launchpad for many initiatives and projects that support sustainable development in Qatar.
The MoU was signed by Founder and Chairman of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani and CCQ President Dr. Mohamed Al-Naemi in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.

Commenting on the occasion, H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani said:
“Today’s agreement with the Community College of Qatar is aimed at benefiting students, staff and professors, as well as the greater Qatari community. The Foundation has signed numerous agreements with governmental and private institutions, through which it aims to implement community-based educational programs in line with Qatar’s 2030 vision and has been recognised for its leadership in the humanitarian field. We look forward to further collaborations that make meaningful and impactful contributions to Qatar and beyond.”

Expressing his delight with the MoU signing, Dr. Mohamed Al-Naemi commented:
“It gives me great pleasure to sign this Memorandum of Understanding with Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, a deep-rooted institution that has always extended its helping hands to various segments of the Qatari society towards empowering individuals through education and a heightened sense of social responsibility. At CCQ, we are honored to devote our expertise, as well as our educational and research resources to contribute to this kind-hearted mission. This agreement will provide a framework for our joint cooperation in many fields, enabling us to launch targeted initiatives and projects that contribute to Qatar’s sustainable development.”

According to the memorandum, the two institutions will implement various community programs to enhance social responsibility and civil engagement, in addition to launching awareness-raising campaigns, encouraging scientific research on relevant topics among college students, and organizing conferences and events that support such endeavors.

The signing of the agreement comes as part of CCQ’s ongoing efforts to build bridges with leading organizations in the country in order to enhance cooperation and provide training opportunities for its students or employees of partner institutions. This, in turn, is set to contribute to achieving the College’s mission to supply the labor market with qualified national competencies.
