The Community College of Qatar (CCQ), represented by CCQ President Dr. Khalid Mohamed Al-Horr, participated as part of the delegation of the State of Qatar in the 25th meeting of the Committee of Presidents and Directors of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting was held at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Presidents and directors of universities and higher education institutions in the GCC countries discussed a number of important issues, foremost of which is the implementation of the decisions of the esteemed Supreme Council related to higher education in the GCC countries, and the decisions of the ministers of higher education and scientific research in the GCC countries.
They also reviewed the results and recommendations of the Committee of Vice Deans of Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the GCC countries, and the results of the work of the technical committees operating under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council and took the appropriate decisions in this regard.
