Dr. Khalid Al-Horr, President of the Community College of Qatar (CCQ), joined the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Education Research Award for the academic year 2022-2023, which is organized for the seventh consecutive year by Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation (ALF) in cooperation with the College of Education at Qatar University.

Dr. Al-Horr expressed his happiness to join the Award’s Board of Trustees and to be part of this educational and scientific effort, and highlighted the quality of this year’s contributions by researchers, academics and postgraduate students from all over the Arab world. He also congratulated the winners and wished all other participants better luck in the coming years.

The Award’s Board of Trustees is chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani - Founder and Chairman of the Board at Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, and includes Her Excellency Sheikha Dr. Hessa bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani - Dean of the College of Education at Qatar University, Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi - President of the University of Doha for Science and Technology, Dr. Khalid Al-Horr - CCQ President, Eng. Abdullatif Al-Yafei - General Manager of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, Prof. Dr.  Ahmed Majriya - Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies - College of Education at Qatar University, and Ms. Mona El Helbawi - General Manager of the Education, Culture and Sports Sector at Al Faisal Holding.

It is worth mentioning that the Award covers the entire Arab world, which allows many researchers and educators from all Arab countries to participate and enrich the education sector with quality scientific researches.
