The Student Affairs Division of the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) held a lecture on the dangers of drug use and addiction, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior’s General Administration for Drug Control (GADC). The lecture was part of the division's ongoing efforts to promote healthy behaviors and contribute to the students’ personal growth, provide them a conducive learning environment, and promote the well-being of society, in general.

The informative presentation was delivered by Dr. Abdul Salam Saleh Al-Hanash, a lecturer in GADC's Information and Awareness Department. Dr. Al-Hanash focused on the negative impact of addiction, highlighting the various health, social, and economic problems it can cause for individuals and their families, as well as the wider community. He also talked about how addiction led to the erosion of personal values and morals.

In addition to discussing the dangers of drug use, Dr. Al-Hanash emphasized the importance of strengthening one's religious faith, avoiding negative influences, engaging in activities such as sports, art, and ongoing learning to prevent the onset of addiction or other harmful behaviors.
