In support of the Community College of Qatar's (CCQ) mission to promote success and retention, the CCQ library plays an integral and vital role in the educational process. The library strives to offer the best mode of authoritative access to information in order to sustain, enhance and supplement student learning.
 

The CCQ library provides resources and services to support the academic curriculum and to assist all library users in the development of information literacy skills. The library contains a growing print collection of 5,300 volumes and through an agreement with, Houston Community College, access to thousands of digital journals, electronic books and hundreds of general and specialized databases. The library also maintains additional print resources such as local newspapers and popular magazines.

CCQ library employs professional librarians and library staff who guide students, faculty and staff in their use of increasingly complex information, and create teaching resources that inspire and enable student learning. In the information age, librarians must continue to play a primary role in the development of information-fluent citizens, capable of academic excellence and life-long learning.
