Upon successful completion of the AA program students will be able to:
Smoothly transfer to a four-year university to continue their higher education
Present information and ideas clearly and effectively in different formats (written and oral)
Achieve mathematical literacy and use appropriate quantitative methods to solve problems
Demonstrate college level critical thinking, argumentation, and analysis skills
Use technology and information literacy skills effectively
Gain awareness and exhibit an understanding of the ways in which people in diverse cultures and eras have produced culturally significant works.
All applicants must:
Graduated from Secondary School approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education
Show proof that the last 3 years of secondary school was completed in Qatar from an approved secondary school by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education
All students must complete level 2 of the English Language Center foundation program in order to enroll for college level courses in any of the Arabic track degree programs. Students may be exempted from this requirement through IELTS testing or completion of an English Foundation program from a recognized institution.
Admission to CCQ does not guarantee admission to all programs. Based upon their assessment results and program objectives, students may be admitted conditionally and required to take developmental and/or prerequisite courses. In addition, special admissions requirements have been established for programs which require that students possess previously learned skills and knowledge.
