The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) marked Qatar National Day with an array of cultural and heritage events in line with this year’s slogan of “Ancestral meadows: a matter of trust”, which highlights the strong link between Qataris and their environment since ancient times. The celebrations emphasized the identity of the State and its history, and embodied the ideals and aspirations on which the State of Qatar was founded, including loyalty, solidarity, unity and pride in the Qatari national identity.

Under the theme of “Freejna Lawal”, CCQ’s  C-Ring Campus was decorated with the Qatari flag (Al-Adam) and the national day slogan and witnessed a variety of fun activities, shows and competitions, along with traditional Qatari dishes, clothes, perfumes and spices.

The celebrations, with which staff and faculty members were greatly engaged, also included the setup of culturally inspired kiosks that reflected the Qatari heritage. In the same context, CCQ launched an open three-day cultural competition on Instagram.

It is worth mentioning that CCQ organized an appreciation ceremony for the Organizing Committee and volunteers of the 10th Graduation Ceremony (2021) in recognition of their active contribution to the success of the event.
