The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and Sidra Medical and Research Centre (Sidra) signed today a Memorandum of Understanding to establish strategic partnership. The MOU was signed by Dr. Abdallah Hazaimeh, CCQ Dean, and Mr. Peter Morris, Sidra CEO.

The MOU was signed during the recruitment open day held at the Sidra Outpatient Clinic for interested applicants (Qataris and those born to a Qatari mothers) who can apply for roles on the spot. The MOU will allow successful candidates, who have been selected for certain administration roles, to receive a fully paid four-month training program at CCQ.

The MOU signals a long-term partnership between Sidra and CCQ to offer a fully customized and Sidra-specific “Healthcare Office Skills” program exclusively for Qatari staff who qualify for some of the entry-level roles. The program includes courses such as medical office administration, medical terminology for healthcare, health information management systems and business computer applications.
