CCQ receives applications for re-enrollment from suspended students as of 30 October till 3 November 2022

The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) announced that the Admission and Registration Department has started receiving applications for re-enrollment from suspended college level students for spring 2023, as of Sunday, 30 October till 3 November 2022. In addition, CCQ will open application for re-enrollment for suspended ELC T3 students for Spring 2023 till 8 November 2022.

The College’s regulations and policies allow suspended college level students who have been dismissed electronically, to apply for re-enrollment. This policy applies to students who dropped out of study for three consecutive semesters where the summer semester is not included provided that they must fill out the CCQ re-enrollment form electronically as soon as the link is activated on CCQ’s website on Sunday, 30 October 2022.
As for suspended Foundation Program students who wish to re-enroll, they must also fill out the re-enrollment form in the ELC Foundation program on Sunday, 30 October 2022, with the need to activate their CCQ email, if it is not already activated, to receive confirmation via e-mail, provided that the student must retake the Accuplacer test if two years have passed since the exam date.

In this regard, the Admission and Registration Department, stressed the importance of taking advantage of this opportunity, offered by CCQ to all suspended students. CCQ has developed an organized and flexible mechanism that allows suspended ELC T3 students either to retake the Accuplacer test if two years have passed since the exam date, or to register at the ELC Foundation program without retaking the test provided that the re-enrollment fees policy shall apply.

As for suspended college level students who wish to re-enroll in spring 2023, and in the event that the student’s enrollment is activate, they will be transferred to the latest study plan related to his/ her major or to join one of the new College majors that were recently launched, if desired, after payment of the due fees, if any, in order to activate the enrollment.

The Admission and Registration Department noted that after re-enrollment and joining one of the College’s academic programs, students can withdraw due to circumstances beyond control on the dates specified in the academic calendar, provided that tuition fees will be charged for students who withdrew after the third week of study.

The student can start adding/dropping courses from the early registration date until the end of the add/drop period, which is determined and specified by the college in the Academic Calendar while adhering to the academic load policy in the College in the event of class withdrawal.
