Scientific visit for Electrical Engineering Female Students to the Operational Facilities of Kahramaa
The Engineering Technology Department in the Science and Technology Division at the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) organized a scientific field visit for 13 female electrical engineering students to Kahramaa Central Workshop in the 'Abu Hamour' area. The visit aimed to familiarize the students with the available training programs, introduce them to various engineering laboratories, workshops, and equipment used in electricity generation and transmission.

The visit included an educational tour of the facility, which covered various facilities such as the water control training laboratory, pump operation, pipe installation techniques, pressure and flow control methods, and the electrical training laboratory. This allowed the students to become familiar with electrical machinery and understand the requirements of electrical power.

Furthermore, a visit was organized for 11 female students to Kahramaa's National Water Control Center in the Thumama area and the Water Pumping Station in the Dahl Al Hamam area. The students listened to a presentation about the various facilities involved in water collection, transportation, and distribution, as well as the technologies used in each facility. They also had the opportunity to observe the pumps and motors used at the Kahramaa Dahl Al Hamam Water Pumping Station and learn about the control mechanisms for water distribution to different areas.
