Moreover, the meeting addressed discussions relevant to Foundation Program students, aiming to guide them towards a successful academic and professional future. It also highlighted in-demand specializations in the job market. New students were provided with academic plans to maximize their educational opportunities at the college and help them smoothly navigate their years of study without any obstacles. This ensures they have a high-quality academic and healthy environment.

The meeting was attended by the Academic Counseling team, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghushami, Head of the Information Technology Department, and Dr. Mustapha El-Halabi, Head of Engineering Technology Department in the Science and Technology Division. Dr. Al-Ghushami emphasized that this meeting serves as a platform for students to clarify the admission procedures, requirements, study plan, and graduation criteria. Additionally, it aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the courses offered at the college.

He also discussed the two main programs in the Information Technology department: the Associate Diploma in Information Technology and the Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Network Security. He mentioned the available job opportunities in these fields, ranging from IT support technicians, intrusion detection specialists, digital forensic examiners, and Chief Information Security Officers to cybersecurity specialists.
