CCQ celebrates Garangao Night
With the aim of reviving the customs and traditions associated with the authentic Qatari heritage, the Facilities and General Services Department at the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) celebrated Garangao Night, with a large presence of the college’s employees, who confirmed that celebrating the middle night of the holy month of Ramadan brings pleasure and joy to the hearts of children and their families, and reflects the values of the mercy, generosity, tolerance, and love that our true religion abounds with.

The Garangao Night celebration is characterized by being an authentic heritage festival, directed especially towards children, and is celebrated in the Arabian Gulf region on the fourteenth night of the holy month of Ramadan, during which cultural and entertainment activities are held, directed to families and children, and include traditional games such as Al-Qais and Al-Dahrawi and the presentation of traditional delicacies such as Harees, Khanfaroush and Luqaimat.
