Program DescriptionThe Associate of Art in Public Administration aims to provide an administrative education of outstanding quality, through a stimulating and encouraging environment to enable students to acquire administrative knowledge and applied skills, to become active administrators in public and non-profit institutions, and qualify them for university-level studies.

Program Objectives

The program aims to produce graduates who are able to:

1. Identify the different administrative concepts and skills for the various administrative fields.

2. Work independently in government agencies and non-profit organizations in Qatar.

3. Work efficiently and effectively within teams.

4. Take responsibility in diverse administrative tasks.

5. Use analytical skills to solve administrative problems.

6. Respect the rules and ethics of administrative work in public and non-profit organizations.

Learning Outcomes

By the time of graduation, students will be able to:

    1. Recognize the role and importance of government agencies and non-profit organizations in Qatar.
    2. Adhere to administrative work ethics.
    3. Relate the results of the different administrative theories to its causes in the public sector.
    4. Explain public policies in the various public and non-profit sectors
    5. Apply the basic skills at the different administrative levels.
    6. Implement distinguished and approved professional practices in the field of Public Administration.
    7. Identify administrative issues and deliver effective solutions.
    8. Communicate effectively in the workplace.

Admission Policy

·        New Students:

·        Must follow CCQ's admission process outlined in the New Student webpage.

Current Students:

To be eligible for the program, a student must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Complete 12 credit hours in College Level
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5

     

    Note: A set number of students are admitted every year.
