Coffee with an Alumnus Hosts GWC's Senior Manager - Business Support

Within CCQ’s frame of communication with its distinguished graduates and building bridges between graduates and students, Coffee with an Alumnus event hosted Mr. Younis Al-Janahi, Senior Manager - Business Support at GWC, who graduated from the College with a BA in Public Administration in 2017.

Dr. Mohamed Al Naemi, CCQ President, and Dr. Khalid Al-Abdulqader, Vice President, honored the friendly session, as well as a number of faculty members and students. The alumnus shared his educational and career experience to encourage students and motivate them to excel. The session was held online, given the precautionary measures imposed by the Corona pandemic.

In his word, Mr. Al-Janahi talked about his own experience as well as the challenges and opportunities he faced while studying. The door was open for questions and inquiries; they revolved around Al-Janahi’s unique experience and his choice to work in the private sector. He expressed his happiness in his experience, which granted him wide expertise and developed his skills significantly.

It’s noteworthy to mention that hosting Mr. Al-Janahi comes within the framework of the country’s interest in the logistics sector. In the past few year, Qatar started to pay attention to the logistics sector, because it plays a vital role in the export and import operations as well as transportation. In addition, the construction of free zones attracted many international foreign companies, which means more investment opportunities in various sectors. It all strengthens the country's economy to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
