​The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) has participated in the 31st edition of the Doha International Book Fair, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center during the period of January 13-22, 2022.

CCQ’s participation in this year’s edition was marked by a variety of activities presented by its faculty members, in cooperation with the Cultural Committee of the Fair.

CCQ faculty members started their activities with a lecture entitled “Creating and Designing Interactive Learning Activities” by Dr. Nisreen Al-Anati. The Fair also witnessed the signing of Ms. Asmaa Al-Dosary’s new book, “The Revival of a Soul”. Moreover, CCQ organized a workshop titled “The Making of Theater Masks” and conducted by Dr. Rawaa Al-Mnayea.

A discussion session under the theme of  “The Role of Digital Libraries in Using Modern Technology to Preserve Books” was also held by Dr. Mais Al-Khateeb and Mr. Mosa Al-Okla. The renowned Qatari artist Mr. Saad Burshaid also shared his professional experience during the “Cultural Product in the Digital Era ... For More Readers” seminar, with the participation of Dr. Omar Al-Ajali, Dr. Kamal Al-Moqabla and Dr. Ashraf Bayoumy.
